Elderberries – A Late Summer Treasure
For us at Bieberbau, elderberries are among the special treasures of late summer. Hand-picked, the ripe berries develop a characteristic, fruity, and sweet-tart aroma. They uniquely reflect the abundance and flavor of this season.
Versatile Processing
In your kitchen, you can refine elderberries in many ways: into delicate capers, fruity juice and syrup, jelly and jam, as well as ice cream and sorbet. This creates special products that preserve the natural character and unmistakable aroma of the elderberry.
Carefully and Safely Processed
To make elderberries edible, they are carefully heated – for at least 10 minutes at a minimum of 80 °C. This gentle processing combines safety with the preservation of their unique aroma.
Nature You Can Taste
For Bieberbau, elderberries are a small piece of nature that captures the abundance of late summer. With their unmistakable taste, they enrich our cuisine and create special moments of indulgence.
