GUIDE MICHELIN 2021

The ambience is unique, and the stucco craftsmanship of Richard Bieber is absolutely worth seeing! In the wonderfully restored and listed guest room from 1894, you are attentively cared for under the direction of the sympathetic hostess and sommelière Anne Garkisch, while patron Stephan Garkisch prepares modern dishes on the Molteni stove. Really successful, how he puts herbs and spices in scene – much comes from his own garden. A soft spot that dates back to his time at the “Strahlenberger Hof” in Schriesheim. For example, Fläminger wild boar with panisse, chard, carrot and curry is given a completely unexpected note by coriander seed and coriander cress. Not to mention the homemade bread up front – sometimes with anise, sometimes with grains and fennel… really delicious! And the prices are fair!
